What's the Deal With "D"?
And if you haven't been giving much thought to getting your vitamin D, you might be surprised to know that there is a fair chance that you are already vitamin D deficient. If you live in a northern latitude, work inside, have dark skin, or use sun block religiously, you may be lacking enough vitamin D to get the benefits of this little wonder.
There are several ways to get enough vitamin D, including sunlight, diet, and supplements. The solution to getting enough vitamin D is as simple as a little outdoor exercise or gardening, a helping of salmon or glass of fortified milk, or a daily supplement with your breakfast. Seems like a pretty small price to pay for all that prevention. Don't even think about this one -- grab a friend. Go for a walk. Get your D.
